MAY: A Meaningful Mother’s Day Gift for Loved Ones and Women in Need: click here for details. We are the only congregation in Arizona participating in this project. Be part of it.
JUNE: Join Congregation Or Chadash and the Social Action committee for a “baby shower” for the women of Maggie’s Place, Sunday, June 3, 10:00 am-noon at Congregation Or Chadash. Enjoy light snacks and a speaker from Maggie’s house to educate us about the roll Maggie’s house plays in the Phoenix community and how you can get involved. We will be collecting items throughout the month of May for Maggie’s Place. To learn more about Maggie’s Place: www.maggiesplace.org.

WANTED: Cooks! Chefs! Shoppers! Delivery Drivers!
The Bikkur Cholim committee, part of Social Action, would like to extend it’s outreach to congregants during times of need with a meal or two. This includes those who are ill, have just given birth, are sitting shiva or are experiencing difficult circumstances. When making that next lasagna, kugle, etc., please consider making two. Love to bake? Freeze an extra dessert. Meals must be dairy or pareve. The committee will let you know of food allergies or other special needs. Shoppers and delivery drivers are also needed. Please email Linda Moskowitz at mousekowitz@me.com if you would like to add your name to the “on call” list and assist as congregant needs are identified.
Please note: We have congregants who will help with meals should there be a need in our community. Please let Linda Moskowitz (mousekowitz@me.com) know if there is such a situation.
